The Commitment to Compliance is the start of every organisation's journey. It is an ongoing commitment - data protection and GDPR is not a one-off project.

Whilst there are a greater selection of tools, systems, policies and practice that make up a complete data protection and information management programme, we have provided a checklist for our core requirements to demonstrate that an organisation is committed to compliance.

This approach is the start of the journey, not the end. Alongside review of data handling, we also look at initial compliance activities (documentation of your programme).

The tools on the knowledge bank (training, logs, documentation) are all designed and developed to support not only making improvements in relation to your data protection and information management programme, but also being able to document and demonstrate these improvements in practice. 

This initial step includes a list of the required initial documentation to have in place, along with a comprehensive checklist to evaluate and monitor progression and priorities.
